Grand Felda House allows student to cancel their booking if they fail to obtain a UK visa before the start of the contract. The agreement gets cancelled, and the booking deposit is fully refunded. Yes, students have to pay a holding deposit to secure their room, which is further converted into a refundable security deposit after the start of the contract. The deposit is registered with the Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme provider and is protected for the complete contract. Further, it is fully refunded within 10 working days after completion of your tenancy.
2. Am I allowed to have guests?
Yes, it is your home, and you are allowed to have guests. Just communicate with the accommodation team and follow the on-site guest policy.
3. Are there social events organised for the residents?
Yes, there are regular social events organised at the accommodation to make the environment welcoming and lively for everybody.
4. Why do I need a Guarantor?
A Rent Guarantor is generally required if you wish to pay the rent using an instalment plan. However, if you wish to make a full payment, we don't ask for a guarantor.
5. Can I cancel my room if I failed to obtain a visa?
At Grand Felda house, your booking is safe, meaning you can cancel your booking if you fail to obtain a visa. In this situation, you just have to provide proof to ensure a refund of your security deposit.
